Being a Cadet is being a part of group of like minded youth. In 1726, you will make new friendships within the Corps, also, when you go on FTX's (Field Training Exercises) and CTC's (Cadet Summer Training Centers) you will meet and make friends and lasting bonds.

At 1726 RCACC, we’re dedicated to helping youth in the Comox Valley develop their skills and grow into contributing members of society. Since 1940, 1726 RCACC has been helping our communities - Cumberland, Bowser, Courtenay and Comox - participating in clean-ups, Parades, Community Service and providing quality training that betters the Youth of the Valley who in turn, better the Community becoming our future Leaders. GENERAL TRAINING

Making a Difference One Child at a Time

At 1726 RCACC, we strive to empower the lives of youth in the Comox Valley through our variety of programs. We do in Class and Field classes in various areas (see list below) these are designed to provide Cadets with all the tools they need to be great leaders tomorrow. We are happy to be the driving force behind the development of our Cadets, and hope to continue making a difference in their lives.

Building a Better Future

On top of great General Training, Cadets offers the chance to participate in CSTC's - Cadet Summer Training Camps, Regional and National Expeditions, International Exchanges, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Marksmanship teams, Band clinics, Orienteering, Parachute course, SCUBA, kayaking, canoeing, belaying and repelling and many more. All run in a safe environment by trained personnel.
